teaching online. Among these is awareness of your basic philosophy
and style of teaching—whether face-to-face or online. It is this
awareness which shapes your role as an online instructor.
This topic will help you to determine
your preferred role as an online instructor, its influence on your
teaching methods and ways in which these can translate into effective
online teaching and learning strategies. Also examined is the impact
of student expectations on your role as instructor and how these can
be transformed into viable online strategies.
